I never really leave reviews but I tried the grand taj tonight as a delivery and it was absolutely delicious. So flavoursome. Arrived hot. It will definitely be my new go to Indian takeaway. Keep up the great quality & I'm sure your customers will keep coming back.
Enjoyed another fantastic buffet on Wednesday. evening - a firm favourite of ours. Staff are always super friendly, food is always delicious. The buffet style means you can try small portions of everything and then go back for seconds of your favourite curries. Includes poppadom and naan's (if you have space)... Highly recommended.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Restaurant, and it was an experience to remember. From the moment I walked in, the warm, friendly smiles and welcoming ambiance set the tone for a delightful evening. The menu offers a fantastic variety of authentic Indian dishes, each crafted with care and bursting with flavor. I started with the popadoms which were perfectly crispy then tandoor platter. later For the main course, I opted for the chicken chilly and the lamb mince curry , both of which were absolutely divine.The fresh, soft garlic naan bread was the ideal accompaniment, and the portions were generous, and finally they had an amazing variety of ice cream ensuring great value for the price. What truly stood out, aside from the incredible food, was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to make recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, creating a cozy yet elegant atmosphere that’s perfect for any occasion. The Grand Taj Indian Restaurant has undoubtedly become one of my favorite dining spots. Whether you’re a fan of Indian cuisine or new to it, this restaurant promises a memorable experience that will keep you coming back for more. Highly recommended!
Another fantastic meal at Grand Taj. The Prawn Poori is amazing and they do the best Nan bread in the country by far. We take any visitors or business clients here and they all leave raving about the food. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant the food is exquisite.
We had a takeaway as our first meal from this last week, it was fantastic. Chef knows how to cook seafood, he has the touch!!!!!! We have come to the restaurant because if a takeaway is that good. How good will it be fresh from the pass. I can confirm - even better. Thank you. A & J
We had a great meal at the Grand Taj in Knaphill last night. It was my stepsons first Indian restaurant experience and he wasn’t let down. Nice calm space, lovely lady who served us and great home cooked authentic Indian food!
We visited for the second time to try the Sunday buffet. The selection of food was excellent and every dish was absolutely delicious; each had its own distinct flavour. Considering you get poppadoms, chutney, naan bread and a dessert included in the price, this has to be the best value meal in the area. All the staff are friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is spacious and welcoming. We shall certainly be going back!
Outstanding service. Amazing food. Never in over 2 years have we had a less then 5 star meal. Best curry place in Knaphill.
